Press Play shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Website.

6. Software Downloads, Paid Licenses and Payments

Press Play offers software downloads on the Website. Some software may be available for free, while others require a paid license for full functionality. The licenses can be purchased on the Website or through third-party platforms.

By downloading software from the Website or purchasing a license on the Website or through third-party platforms, you agree to be bound by any additional terms and conditions specific to that software. You also agree to the terms and conditions of the End User License Agreement (“EULA”) that accompanies the software. A copy of the EULA is available on this Website.

Payments made using our authorized reseller platform are subject to the terms and conditions of the reseller. Please refer to the reseller’s payment policy for more information on payment processing, security, and refund procedures.

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.

8. Changes to This Agreement

Press Play reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Website. Your continued use of the Website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.


Refund Policy

This Refund Policy (“Policy”) applies to purchases made on the Press Play Music Technology website (“Website”) available at https://pressplay-music.com.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds are only available for purchases of commercial software license keys made through our online shop.

To be eligible for a refund, you must submit a refund request within 14 days of the purchase date.

2. Refund Process

To request a refund, please contact us at support@pressplay-music.com with your order details and reason for the refund request.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided for the following situations:

  • In cases where order information necessary for verification is not provided.
  • Change of mind or dissatisfaction with the functionality of the software after the license key has been provided.
  • Inability to use the an audio plug-in due to compatibility issues with your digital audio workstation or operating system.

4. Evaluation

Users are encouraged to evaluate our software before purchasing a license key to ensure compatibility with their systems. We do not define a specific evaluation period.

The functionality of the software is limited until a valid license key is provided. However, we provide free versions of the software with limited functionality to allow users to evaluate the software before making a purchase. For audio plug-ins, compatibility with your digital audio workstation and operating system should be verified during the evaluation period.


End User License Agreement (“EULA”)

Please note that the installers provided on this website may include a modified or specialized version of this End User License Agreement (EULA). By proceeding with the installation, you agree that the terms and conditions outlined in the modified EULA version apply.

PLEASE READ THIS END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (“EULA”) CAREFULLY BEFORE USING OUR SOFTWARE. BY USING THE SOFTWARE, YOU ARE AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS EULA. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS EULA, DO NOT USE THE SOFTWARE.

1. License Grant.
a) Paid versions: Press Play Music Technology, Piotr Palka (“Press Play”) grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software for evaluation purposes. Full functionality is available upon obtaining a valid license key from Press Play’s shop.
b) Free versions: Press Play Music Technology, Piotr Palka (“Press Play”) grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software.
Audio plug-ins distributed by Press Play are available as VST, VST3, Audio Unit (macOS only), and AAX audio plug-in formats for use in compatible digital audio workstations.

2. License Key (paid versions only).
To use the Software, you must obtain a license key from Press Play’s shop. This license key allows you to use the software, including all updates up to the next major release.

3. Restrictions.
You may not modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Software. Reverse engineering is prohibited.

4. Ownership.
The Software is licensed, not sold. Press Play retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights therein.

5. Exclusion of Liability.
Press Play is not liable for any damage to audio equipment or hearing loss arising from the use of the Software.

6. Support and Updates.
The license includes access to support services and updates for the Software up to the next major release. However, Press Play does not guarantee the availability or timeliness of such updates.

7. Termination.
This EULA is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically without notice from Press Play if you fail to comply with its terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranty.
The Software is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.

9. Governing Law.
This EULA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

By using the Software, you acknowledge that you have read this EULA, understand it, and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
