It’s been a while since my last update, but behind the scenes, I’ve been making great progress in music DSP research and development. Today, I’m excited to share some of the results.
Over the past year, I’ve been working on advanced limiter models for Wave Breaker, and I can finally announce that PeakMaster Pro is ready for release – and it sounds amazing! Designed specifically for mastering, this limiter model dynamically adapts to the incoming audio, delivering high levels of gain reduction with minimal distortion. It precisely handles transients while preserving a solid bass response.
But that’s not all. I’m also introducing Clipper X, a soft clipping model with flexible controls for shaping its distortion characteristics. Both models will be part of the upcoming Wave Breaker 2.0 update, along with several other improvements. Stay tuned!
